Sie ist bekannt f\u00fcr die &#8222;Fiesta de las Flores y las Frutas&#8220;, die an Fastnacht stattfindet. Highlight der Festwoche ist ein Umzug mit Motivwagen, die reichlich mit Blumen und Fr\u00fcchten verziert sind und von einer oder mehreren Sch\u00f6nheitsk\u00f6niginnen gekr\u00f6nt werden:<a Mit sog. Carioca (Spr\u00fchschaum aus Dosen) wird bis zur v\u00f6lligen Versch\u00e4umung gek\u00e4mpft.
